About Me

“Whatever you do do it all in the name of Jesus. And give thanks to God the Father.”
(Colossians 3:17)

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to read more about me!

I'm Anna! If I’m not reading, I’m either cutting or styling hair, or sipping tea (and occasionally creamed up coffee). Graduated homeschooler, training to be a beautician. My heart belongs to the Lord and Savior; Jesus Christ. The one who made my current home- the Appalachians. I believe my calling is to serve Him and to give Him glory. Whether that be through encouraging others with what He reveals to me through scripture, or praising Him with the talents He equipped me with. Here’s to the words of my heart and the ponderings of my soul, and the many cups of tea (or coffee) that will be consumed.

No way! I wouldn't exchange my education for anything. In the world's eyes, I might've missed out on secular things such as prom and sororities, gossip or popularity. But I now have a firm foundation in God's Word instead. By homeschooling, I've been able to travel across the United States 2x with my beautiful family! Seen historical landmarks that the average public schooler will probably never see in all their years at a school. I do not regret homeschooling.

I've been saved 10 years! Jesus is my Redeemer and Beloved Friend. He saved me at the age of 8, after Children's Church one Sunday. I knew that something was wrong and I needed someone to fill the void inside. I came downstairs from crying and Dad led me to the Lord at our kitchen table.
Ever since that day, He has been faithful and forgiving, even when I mess up or slack off.

Though your sins are like scarletthey will be as white as snowthough they are as red as crimsonthey will be like wool." (Isaiah 1:18)

I'm in Beauty School right now as a full-time student and depending on my hours, I'll graduate sometime in the fall!

After I graduate I will go work at a salon until the Lord tells me to start one myself (which is my dream!).

Currently, I am using Estee Lauder's Double Wear! Check out my other makeup favorites!

I have a balayage with 507M, (which is a light brown with heavy pigment with a hint of mocha to add warmth) on the roots. If this doesn't make sense, just ask your hairstylist, or me if you need one!
